The following key enhancements comprise the Veeva Network MDM 26R2.0 major release.

Announcement
New fields enabled by default To support enhancements in version 26R2.0, several new fields will be added and enabled by default in all Network MDM instances. 26R2.0
General
Map updates Style updates have been made to maps on record profiles to align with search and geocoding changes. 26R2.0
Product name The user interface is now rebranded with the Network MDM product name. 26R1.1
Hierarchy Explorer widget
Access from HCP accounts in Vault CRM When the Hierarchy Explorer widget is embedded in Vault CRM, end users can now access the widget directly from an HCP account. 26R2.0
Export to Excel Administrators can disable the option to export hierarchies to a Microsoft Excel file. 26R1.1
Data Change Requests
Master data disclaimer Users must confirm that DCR updates for mastered records do not come from external data sources. 26R1.1
Search
Improved phonetic search Search behavior has been expanded to support a broader range of alternate spellings and phonetic name variations. 26R2.0
Profiles
Profile Inspector The Profile Inspector is a tool that you can use to see all of a record’s fields, including fields not on the profile, on a single, easy-to-search screen. 26R2.0  
Parent Affiliation improvements The Parent Affiliation section is updated to include pagination. 26R2.0
OpenData 2.0 data model
License support The data model is extended to support the License object which includes the Identifier component. 26R2.0
Identifiers Identifier data (for example, NPI numbers and VAT IDs) is now stored as a License component rather than fixed fields, allowing you to assign multiple ID types to a single record to support complex business scenarios. 26R2.0
IQVIA® OneKey data
Process IQVIA reference data IQVIA custom reference field value lists in Network MDM are updated with the latest reference data provided by IQVIA. 26R1.1    
Unmerge records Network MDM can now unmerge OneKey records during the source subscription job. 26R1.1    
Integration Dashboard The IQVIA OneKey system is included in the dashboard. 26R1.1      
Data Model
New fields for unmerged records

To help users more easily track record unmerges, new fields are added to unmerged records so its history can be viewed directly on the record.

Cluster management Updated codes are available for Spain and the UK. 26R1.1    
OpenData Subscriptions
Advanced filters Administrators can define advanced filters using SQL queries to specify additional records to download in country subscriptions. 26R2.0    
Updates for field management

Subscription settings are updated with clearer field labels making it easier for Data Managers to understand and select which fields are managed by OpenData.

Enhanced job details The Job Result Summary now includes a new column that displays the total count of processed records. 26R2.0    
Primary CDA address field Administrators can configure the Primary CDA field to be OpenData-managed in country subscriptions. 26R1.1    
Subscriptions
Track countries Data managers can see the countries impacted by jobs. 26R2.0      
Source Subscriptions
Reference data issues Administrators can configure subscriptions to update records even though reference data issues are identified. 26R1.1    
Integrations
Vault CRM A new Vault CRM credential supports the Network System User that is now provisioned in each Vault CRM instance. 26R2.0      
Security
Dynamic user provisioning for single sign-on (SSO) Administrators can now use their SSO provider groups and countries to automatically set up new users with the right access and settings the first time they log in. 26R2.0      
SSL certificate updates Customers who explicitly download and install certificates must update the certificate for veevanetwork.com. 26R2.0      
API
Version update - 26R2 The Network MDM API is updated to v40.0. 26R2.0 Developers
Version update - 26R1.1 The Network MDM API was updated to v39.0. 26R1.1 Developers
Restrict access to authorized systems The Change Request Search and Retrieve APIs now enforce the system access restrictions in your user profile. 26R1.1      

Note: The System and Data Admin user has all of the capabilities of the System Administrator and Data Steward users. Features and enhancements that apply to those users also apply to the System and Data Admin user.

    At the top of the page, click Subscribe to Veeva Trust Site and subscribe to the Veeva Network component.

The documents are posted in the following locations:

  • Veeva Connect - Join the Network MDM Community.

    To be notified as soon as the Release Notes are posted, go to your Veeva Connect profile and click Settings. On the Email Frequency page, expand the list and choose Immediate. Other notification options are Daily and Weekly.
