Stewarding primary affiliation

Data stewards can update Network Calculated and Unique Checkbox primary affiliation fields from a by selecting a value from the primary field list.

Note: For Network Calculated primary affiliation, if an affiliation is loaded with custom primary affiliation fields without a specified value, there will not be a source or time stamp on the custom fields. Network will ignore this affiliation when it is calculating the primary affiliation. For auto compute to work properly, you must supply the custom field value of True or False in both the source subscription and change request.

Data change requests

If an inactive object is set to Primary, or a primary object is set to Inactive, the DCR is successfully processed and Network automatically finds the next best primary to add to the record.
