Tracking widget actions

Actions that occur in the widget and changes to the widget configuration can be tracked using Network logs and reporting.

AD

Logs

Administrators can use the Network logs to review actions in widgets.

  • System Audit History - Changes to the widget configuration.
  • Login Audit History - Users that access any of the widgets.

Identify widget activity using the Type column. Any SSO Login entries identify log in activities for widgets.

  • Task Audit History - Tracks add requests submitted through the search widget and change requests that are submitted through the profile widget.
  • Search Audit History - Tracks searches in the search widget. Use the Search Origin list to specify the Search Widget.

Reporting on downloaded records

If the search widget is configured to generate custom keys, users with access to advanced ad hoc queries can report on the records that have been downloaded from the Search widget. Use the custom key in your query.
