Records created from Search widget add requests

AD

After an add request is sent to Network from the Search widget, a record is created using Network's workflow process.

You can immediately use the record in the Search widget while data stewards process the add request.

Record details

The new record includes the following details:

  • VID - An assigned ID.

  • Addresses

  • Licenses

  • ParentHCOs

  • Default values

  • Alternate keys

Possible record states for the new records

Workflow Outcome Record State Details
Record not matched to any existing record Under Review The add request is sent to the appropriate data steward to validate and process.
Record is suspect matched against an existing record Under Review The suspect match task is available in the inbox for local data stewards to process.
Record matches an existing record in your Network instance Matched record's Record State (either Under Review or Valid) The add request transitions to a change request. The change request is sent to the appropriate data steward to process.
Record matches against an existing record in Veeva OpenData Under Review The task is sent to Veeva OpenData data stewards to process. The under review record is provided in the search widget.
