Enable candidate records
Administrators can enable the candidate records feature and provider users access to the records.

Enable the feature
To use the candidate records feature:
- In the Admin console, click Settings.
- On the General Settings page, near the bottom, select Enable Candidate Record Data Model Field.
- Click Save.
This setting enables the candidate_record__v field in the data model.
Enable access to candidate records
When the feature is enabled, users can view and access the records only through their data visibility profile (DVP) permissions.
To enable access to candidate records:
- In the Admin console, click Users > Data Visibility Profile.
- On the Data Visibility Profile page, click a profile.
- At the top of the page for that profile, click Edit.

- In the Permissions section, set Candidate Visibility to True.
- Save the data visibility profile.
Users assigned to this DVP will have access to candidate records.
