Veeva Network Reporting
Network provides predefined reports that you can run and update, and you can also build reports that you can save to the reports list. Reporting provides controls to quickly and easily create queries for analyzing data in your customer instance. Administrators and Data Managers can create reports using the SQL Query Editor.
Unlike manual methods for looking at data, such as Network search, Network Reporting enables you to view and analyze data quickly and on a much larger scale. With Network Reporting you can use concise criteria to find and analyze what you’re looking for.
Entity-level updates are immediately exported to the reporting database. This means that you can report on updated data as soon as changes are made in Network.
You can use Network Reporting for the following:
- Analyze data quality issues; for example, report on HCPs without an active address.
- Define a customer dataset by identifying a subset of Veeva OpenData records for a customer instance; for example, identify all pulmonology-related HCPs and HCOs for a specific region.
- Perform task reporting and management activities by identifying and analyzing task throughput; for example, identify day-to-day change request resolution rates by data steward.
- Job summary information for target and source subscriptions.
Enabling this feature
Administrators must enable users to see reports by selecting the Reporting View checkbox on the General Settings page of the Admin console. Administrators can set further permissions to access reports and the SQL Query Editor in the Additional Permissions section of a user's profile.
