Multiple master matching and merging

Master data is always separate, so Veeva OpenData or third party master data cannot be matched or merged. Network checks the owner of the record to ensure that only gray records are matched and merged with master records.

The following diagram illustrates the only supported scenarios for merging records:

Source subscriptions

When you are loading subscriptions for third party master systems (System Interfaces > Source Subscriptions), the options for Match against OpenData and Source Deduplication are not available. The data from third party master providers cannot be matched with Veeva OpenData. Master source data is always separated. Local (gray) records can continue to be matched and be source deduplicated with Veeva OpenData.
