Data stewards are assigned a task group that ensures that they receive only the tasks intended for them, based on specified HCO and HCP types and country.

Based on a user’s data visibility profile and regulatory requirements for opted-out HCPs, each user will only see information they’re allowed to access, when running reports and analyzing data quality, or while viewing record profiles.

Data from Veeva OpenData and third party masters always remains separate; third party data is never used to enhance Veeva OpenData.

For countries that regulate opt-out management, opted-out records cannot be accessed in downstream systems, the customer instance, CRM, or through API calls.
